How it came to be Ridgewood is unclear, but while searching what I believe was the site for the general store I found a printers plate bearing the towns name Ridgewood, Florida, F.B. Parse General Merchandise. Mr. Parse also served as the town's postal clerk. The plate contains a grocery add and is the only real proof of the towns existence besides the Post Office Departments Archives in Washington D.C.

This photograph you see are copper bridal rosettes. Also in the photo of the rosettes you'll see a lead weight used for hanging on the bottom of women's dresses so that wrinkles don't occur.
