![]() How it came to be Ridgewood is unclear, but while searching what I believe was the site for the general store I found a printers plate bearing the towns name Ridgewood, Florida, F.B. Parse General Merchandise. Mr. Parse also served as the town's postal clerk. The plate contains a grocery add and is the only real proof of the towns existence besides the Post Office Departments Archives in Washington D.C. |
